Hi,
I have panorama which covers 360 degrees in the horizontal angle, but does not cover 180 degrees in the vertical angle.
Is there any option to use that images?
Here is my panorama:

Here is my test application with forge js:

But my panorama is stretched to 180 degrees in vertical angle.
Thank you for your answer.

Re: Display not full 360 x 180 degrees panorama
Hello kub27,
At this time ForgeJS does not handle partial panoramas, but it should be developed in the future.
What you can do is to make an image that have a 2:1 ratio and fill the blanks with black or any color of your choice.
In you case, the file is 8000 x 938. Just make it 8000 x 4000 and it should be good assuming that you cropped the top and bottom the same amount of pixels!
You can also add limits to the camera to avoid the user to see black areas.
I add a small resolution preview of what you can do in 800 x 400.
Hope this helps, have a nice day!

Re: Display not full 360 x 180 degrees panorama
Hi Raphaël,
thank you for your reply.
This is interesting workaround.
It is little bit challenging for images with higher resolution.
The image size grows up a lot and the image is loading slowly, but it works.
Thank you for doing that fascinating framework.

Re: Display not full 360 x 180 degrees panorama
Hello Jakub,
We are working on multi resolution tiled panoramas. This will support partial panoramas.
So you will have the perfect solution as soon as we get ready to release this
Have a nice day, thanks for your support!
