I tried to watch the samples on my Android phone. Video does not work. And clicking the cardboard icon does nothing.... So there's still some work to be done !

Hi vrnl,
On mobile phones you can't set a video to auto play. So the video never starts by itself. Unless you add a play button!
If you try the following sample that has a user interface, you will be able to play the video: video controls
Can you tell us :
- which sample are you testing?
- what is your android device version?
- what is your browser and its version number?
Of course, this is an open source project so the release is made early to be able to share with people and get feedback.
Thanks for your help!

Re: No cardboard view or video on Android
Oh, and about the cardboard icon:
Our code is compatible with webVR browsers only (we didn't embed the webVR polyfill for now) and the only mobile browser that is webVR compatible at the moment is the Samsung internet browser for gear VR.
I think we will improve the WebVR button plugin soon and make it not display the button on non WebVR compatible browsers.
Did you test it on a Samsung Gear VR?
Thanks!
