Let me start by saying that I'm technical but not a developer so I'm having trouble getting my environment setup. The documentation seems to be written from a seasoned developers perspective and leave out some of the more basic stuff like setting p the environment.
With that being said I'm working on a MacBook running High Sierra 10.13.2, I have downloaded and installed node.js and I have downloaded and installed the forge.js full package 0.9.5 now I'm at a loss. Am I missing some pieces of the puzzle? Any help ya'll could provide this newbie would be wonderful.
Thanks in advance,
Brent

Re: Nwebie looking for help getting started
You do not need node.js if you don't want to develop for the ForgeJS framework.
All you need to have is a local webserver and unzip the full package at the document root of the local webserver.
You can use the default apache that goes with macOS or install something like mamp that is appropriate for newbies

Hope this helps
