Hi there,
We are now working with forgeJS to display 360 videos.
Is it possible to display dual screen for cardboard and to use the gyroscope for the mobile version.
After a quick look we didn't find any information concerning this two features into the documentation.
In the previous versions of the gopro vr player, there was. Hope to find it in the new player.
Kind regards, Lucien

Re: GYRO + CARDBOARD
Hi Lucien,
The WebVR polyfill integration is planned for cardboard usage.
At this time VR part of ForgeJS is built on the WebVR API only and can be used with Oculus, Vive and Samsung Gear (probably also on Daydream but we haven't started the tests on this device).
Thanks for using ForgeJS,
Benjamin

Hi Lucien!
Which browser are you using ? Is it compatible with the webVR API ?
If so, you just have to add our WebVR button plugin to add a UI component to turn on the VR mode.
The gyroscope is handled by the WebVR API.
If your browser is not compatible, you can install the WebVR API Emulation extention for chrome to test the VR feature.
Note that our latest version of the WebVR button plugin will not display if your browser is not WebVR compatible.

Hello Benjamin and Raphael,
Thanks for your answers,
Flavien is working on it, we didn't see this plugin before. It looks to be efficient.
We'll send a link to show the result soon.
Thanks, Lucien

Re: GYRO + CARDBOARD
I am also looking for the Cardboard mode in the forgejs in mobile web pages, because that's an important feature for displaying 360 contents. Hope the WebVR will soon be available to general platforms including the mobiles, not only for vive/Oculus.
Re: GYRO + CARDBOARD
Hello everyone,
At the moment there is only the Samsung browser for Gear VR that is compatible with the WebVR API on mobile platform.
Chrome mobile should be available any time soon because they announced some time ago to be WebVR ready at the beginning of 2017.
In the meantime you can try to add a WebVR polyfill to your project to bring the WebVR API to a browser that is not compatible out of the box.
Have a nice day!

Thank you... is there a table in the documentation that lists browsers, OS/HW platforms, and support for forgejs and forge WebVR ?
