Are there any specifics to the MPD videos?
Can youtube videos work with the scene-sync?

Hi,

Most of the MPD formats should be working. We are using Dash.js library which supports most of the MPEG-DASH formats.

For YouTube video, there is no scene-sync.
The sync is only available through our video html5 and dash classes so you have to set a video file to use it.

For free streaming host, I don't know but you can test with trial access http://bitmovin.com/ or https://www.wowza.com/
